Waco Custom Marketplace started with a vision many years ago, by its founder David Bauer. The visions and ideas have grown and changed over the years into what you now know as Waco Custom Marketplace. As a family made up of first and second-generation immigrants the Bauer family has been in the meat business since day one. Starting in the Waco area in 1953 with H&B Packing the Heyman & Bauer family started what is now the oldest operating family owned beef processing facility in the state of Texas. It was then when the visions started to create something special for the Waco community to enjoy. After acquiring Waco Custom Meats & Seafood in 2014, David Bauer and family began to distribute the best quality beef, pork, and poultry products to restaurants and individuals alike in the central Texas area. As a company founded on the notion of taking care of its customers like family, the idea of creating a one of a kind family owned marketplace became a reality. Waco Custom Marketplace was created not only for our family, but for the families of Central Texas as well.
